Shoshana Paige is a Senior Deputy Public Defender who has been with the office since 2006. She graduated from the University of Texas School of Law, with honors, in 1999. After graduation, she practiced civil litigation and white collar criminal defense at a large law firm for two years before joining the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office in 2001. She joined the Whatcom County Public Defender in July 2006, where she currently focuses on representing adults accused of felony offenses.
Shoshana has extensive experience representing juveniles and adults charged with misdemeanors and felonies, up to and including first degree murder. She has tried numerous cases to juries in both Dallas and Whatcom counties. She also has experience in representing individuals in mental health civil commitment proceedings, At-Risk-Youth and Child in Need of Services proceedings, and truancy contempt hearings.
