How
is Whatcom County organizing a response to the growing threat of
pandemic influenza?
During
the past several months over 120 individuals from business, government,
schools, medical care, community support organizations, faith-based
groups and legal experts, to name just some of those represented,
have been working to answer this question. The main question for
this group was “How would a healthy community respond to a pandemic?”
Several working groups were created to work on specific issues facing
Whatcom County in the event of a pandemic. The results of the working groups have been completed in the Phase 2 Report below.
