What are the Treasurer's Office hours?
We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, including
the lunch hour. However, for passport services, we stop processing
applications at 4:00pm each day. Please see our current observed holiday schedule for
days that we are closed.
Where is the Treasurer's Office located?
We are located on the first floor of the Whatcom County
Courthouse at 311 Grand Avenue, Suite 104 in Bellingham.

Where
should I mail tax payments?
Is there a drop box?
A drive up drop box is located near the north rotunda entrance
to the Courthouse on Grand Avenue. A second drop box is located
outside the south entrance to the Courthouse. The box is located
on the brick wall adjacent to the door and is labeled Envelope
Depository. On and near the tax due date, a drop box is also
available in the lobby of the Treasurer's Office.
Can anyone see my tax account records?
Yes, property tax records are public records.
