Service Changes

Beginning July 1, 2021, our offices will reopen to the public for Environmental Health services only by appointment at our Girard Street location. Our facilities at State Street will remain closed to the public.

To make an appointment, call (360) 778-6000 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. To speak with a public health nurse, call (360) 778-6100.

We will still follow all COVID-19 safety protocols and guidance from the state Department of Health. Unvaccinated individuals are expected to keep wearing masks when doing business in county buildings. If you're unvaccinated and don't bring a mask with you, we will provide one for you.

Walk-in services will become available weekdays from 1:00 - 4:30 p.m. beginning September 7, 2021. We are continuing to provide most services online, or by phone and email.
