WCHD Veterans Assistance Fund Available to Flood Victims

BELLINGHAM, WA -- Whatcom County veterans who have a DD214 showing 6 months of honorable service and have income below 60% of the Area Median Income ($34,080 for a one-person household or $48,660 for a four-person household) may be eligible for flood relief help through the Veterans Assistance Fund. Eligible applicants may receive help to pay for basic living needs, such as rent, mortgage, or utilities.
